I Apparently Need To Sleep....

Today I felt naked despite the fact that I was wearing my thickest sweater and work pants. I went to lunch with schmise and realized that I forgot to put on my every day staples, which include my watch, ring, and necklace. She pointed out that it took me half a day to realize it. The ring ended up bothering me the most today because when I do have free time I tend to fidget with it. And other times it is my necklace.

It's all good. I'm going to go to sleep. I may even be able to get 6 1/2 hours of sleep. muhahaha!!

It's been awhile since I have the feeling of being ready for a 72 hour road trip and passing out for a week. Egads!

In other news, I definitely need to get a crown my my upper molars on each side of my mouth. I believe it's the 2 and 15 for those dental savvy people out there. My dentist has this computer technology and they took pictures of my geographic tongue and my molars. My molars look like they've been through a losing battle. It sucks, but it needs to be done, and so it shall be. The timing is a little off, but a girl has to do what a girl has to do.

I have two crowns. While the dental work wasn't fun, it's kinda nice that I don't need to worry about them anymore. And, if you get a gold crown, you feel a bit like a pirate:)

Yeah I think I'm actually doing porcelian (sp) crowns. Oddly enough I have this slight vanity issue. I was a little freaked about doing it, but once I saw the pic of what my tooth looked like I was not happy! Eeks!!!

Since they're in the back, you won't be able to see them at all. I have a porcelain crown on the lower right side of my mouth, and you can see it when I smile. But I have to open my mouth really wide to show off my gold crown, which is on the upper right side. My dentist says that porcelain crowns wear down your other teeth more than gold crowns do. Of course, she's a young dentist and has some strong opinions about this kind of thing. Either way, crowns are way better than worn-down teeth with lots of amalgam because, well, they can crack. Ouch. The crown keeps this from happening. Yay!
