Suggestions....

Assuming all is well with the world, and N, E, and I are moving in together in a couple of weeks I need to offer up some suggestions.
N & I have run into our one financial point of contention, the internet. Mostly paying for service. She doesn't use it as much as I do, but doesn't understand the importance it has in my life and the necessity. And she does use it sometimes. But what she doesn't realize is that you don't have a house that will be filled with 7 computer with no internet access. It's stupid really. And E hasn't been on the computer that much because he hasn't had his own stuff to do that. In chosing between cable or cable modem/DSL I choose the latter. She's cool with that. She doesn't watch that much tv either.
So my question is do you know of inexpensive DSL plans to go with? Or better options than going through Comcast? I don't think Comcast is going to be our cable provider, but I would at least like to come to the table with an option or 3 vs well the argument of we need to have internet access.

*******EDIT******* Thanks to all who gave me feedback on this. I ended up emailing N & E with 3 options. 1) Comcast - which I still couldn't find the $58/mo/yr deal and I was on hold too long and hung up, 2) WOW! which if we're going both cable & modem is probably the best bet and 3) SBC Yahoo DSL, which for one year is the cheapest option. I did talk to E tonight for a bit. He said that they had talked about it and are leaning toward cable modem only no cable. So at least they were talking about options. riffalike can attest to how many times she said that to me in our last bout of internet issues. And after I scream I will relay the conversation we had today when it sounded an awful lot like she cares what happens.
