Not sure if people are aware, but I don't own a lot of shoes. I realize this is a strike against me in terms of actually being a female, but I'm ok with this.

I'm the type who tends to buy things, wear the hell out of them, and replace them. Shoes are definitely one of those things.

I got my current black shoes shortly before going to Germany in May. They're a little...how you say...worn out. The tips of the shoes were very worn and white as well as the sides.

One of my coworkers in crime brought in some shoe polish this morning for me. Since I got to work early, I had a few minutes to polish my shoes. And now it looks like I have semi-new shoes. Woohoo!! I'm very excited about this.

On an unrelated topic. My car decided it didn't want to start this morning. I was going to head to the drug store and do some errands before work. Fortunate for me, I have one of those self contained car starter thingys. Yes, I know, I'm all about being technical. After get that hooked up and waiting forever, my car started. It seems that tis the season, my car refuses to start if there is less than half a tank of gas and it's cold. This started in January. I can't say how much this excites me going into what is predicted to be one cold ass winter. eeks!!
