Movie Reviews....
Jan. 7th, 2006 11:09 amWork was a unpleasant experience, but then I hauled arse from FH to Ypsi at a very fast pace. I made it in time for the movie BloodRayne. I met up with
logangrey,
aerospcgrl, and Juggles. With a pretzel and honey mustard in hand, we went off to see the movie. Review below:
BloodRayne: I think the person who wrote it did so while riding in the back of a school bus on the way to the 3rd grade. What an active little imagination you have there Johnny! Who knew that one day it would be turned into a flick where Ben Kingsley, Billy Zane, and Michael Madsen had lost a bet and needed to star in. Or perhaps they needed lunch money themselves. It was a little hard to watch Ghandi playing an old powerful vampire when I've seen him do much better work. And with the absolute humorous way the lines were delivered, it had suck fest written all over it. At one point I uncontrollably shouted out that I was going home to write a movie. Perhaps I can get John Malkovich, Johnny Depp, and Ozzy Osbourne to star int it. It could happen.... :)
Then to cleanse the palate from the loss of brain cells, we went to see Memoirs of a Geisha, which was the original plan anyway. That movie was a lot better. It has been years since I read the book, but I enjoyed it. The characters were fun and interesting. The important part of the story was kept intact. It was good.
And then I was off to learn about this invention people call sleep. I got about 8 hours in when the baby started crying because she didn't want to take a nap. That was a bummer for me, but I suppose I need to start the day somehow.
