Holy Crap Batman...

rossjaWhere to start...
a) my roommate/landlord Jill is moved/ing out. How did we find out? Well I walk in the door and first notice that the glass cabinet that kept all her cop stuff in was gone. So I jokingly started to say something about it not realizing that Niki was on the phone with her. Then I saw the NOTE.
The note basically said, as it was taped to a fall centerpiece Niki created on the island in the kitchen, that she was moving out and it was up to us to decide what to do about the cable and cable modem. I can't live without internet. I'll go insane. So that's staying as we don't have a land line to use dial-up. The problem was that the cable bill was actually included in our rent agreement, so this should be fun. The best part was that she took her couch. Thank GOD I still have mine, but it was a nice set up for the living room and at the very least afforded a nice amount of seating space for the Halloween party in 3 days. So now we have to figure out how to redecorate the house, so it doesn't look completely moronic in 3 days. egads! She's taking her kitchen table. Lucky for us she will actually wait until after the party for that and now we have to move a chair from the basement to the top floor unless we can find a piece of furniture. Now that makes the basement look a bit bare. ugh! With the table, I'm fortunate to have given mine to schmise for safe keeping. So I can go and get that in a weekend or two. Niki and I are not upset that she's moving out, but both of us are quite put out in the manner in which she chose to do so. I threw away the note because I was so pissed about its contents. oy vey! grrrrrrrrrrrr.......
b) I ended up getting people upset at other people and it was completely unintentional, so I feel bad.
Friend A emailed me something about friend B that I found shocking, so I told my roommate. Well friend B called my roommate to tell her what I had already told her. So my roommate told friend B that I had told her the news, thus apparently infuriating friend B because he told friend C about it. Friend B is upset because he hasn't told his pseudo special someone the news. Not like that person would find out anyway because no one likes her. ugh! So now I feel bad because if I had just kept my mouth shut, this wouldn't be an issue. Normally I do keep my mouth shut, but sheeesh. I was just a little surprised and it's not like it was that big of a deal anyway. So I am just not happy in general. This shit has to stop!
